Ontario cardiologists threaten exodus
In a report carried in the Globe and Mail, Ontario’s doctors repeat their disappointment with the McGuinty government for making them the villains in Ontario’s finances, and several professional groups say they will simply leave their practices. The government no doubt will accuse them of bluffing, but we don’t think so: the physicians are saying they will RETIRE not run to the United States.
The situation could prove dire as Ontario’s population ages and more people need specialized cardiac care. In the meantime, electricity bills rise, and the various fees and charges go toward corporate wind power developers.
