Citizens’ group president resigns from RNAO
Wind Concerns Ontario president Jane Wilson revealed in an interview on Zoomer Radio’s Goldhawk Fights Back last week, that she has resigned her membership in the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO).
“I can’t belong to an organization that’s supposed to be about health, and is ignoring the fact that people are becoming ill,” she said. Goldhawk mentioned the resolution she and other nurses put before the RNAO’s annual general meeting this year, which was defeated.
“All we were asking for was support for more research into the turbine noise and health effects,” she recalled. “Then Health Canada announces a two-year study…who looks silly now?”
